Bed & Breakfast accommodation in the old farmhouse includes three spacious, tastefully furnished and decorated bedrooms featuring original artwork and paintings, including some by artist daughter, Fiona.

On
the ground floor, overlooking the garden, is a double/family room with an en-suite
bathroom.

Upstairs, also overlooking the gardens, and with views to the Barr Loch and beyond, is a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.

Also upstairs is a double bedroom overlooking the courtyard. This room has en-suite shower facilities.
There
is a large comfortable lounge/dining room with views of both the courtyard and
the garden. It has period furnishings and log burning fire and is available
for guests at all times. Janet
is an enthusiastic and qualified cook who prepares delicious home-made meals
for B & B guests. Breakfasts are a speciality, and East Lochhead reached
the final three in the taste of Scotland Awards for the best B & B in Scotland
2001/2. In 2002/03 East lochhead was one of only 10 establishments in Scotland
to be awarded 4 Medallions in the Home Cooking Category of the Visit Scotland
food grading scheme. Janet is a member of the Ayrshire Food Network and the
International Slow Food movement (www.slowfood.com)
Vegetarian,
vegan and special diets arecatered for.
All rooms have:
- bath/shower facilities
- colour television
- tea and coffee making facilities
- trouser press
There
is a public telephone available, plus telephone points for Internet access.
Fax and photocopying facilities are also available. Arrival time is normally
after 4.00pm. Guests are asked to vacate their bedrooms by 10.30am. No smoking
is permitted within the house.

& Breakfast from £37.50 per person per night, including full Scottish
breakfast.

RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
A Reservation, whether by letter, e-mail, fax or telephone,
is a legally binding contract.
To confirm and secure your booking a deposit of £ 10.00 per person is
required. This can be paid by cash, cheque or credit card.
If you are obliged to cancel or curtail your stay, for whatever reason, then we would be grateful for as much notice as possible in order to re-let the room. Cancellations or curtailments made three weeks or more prior to arrival will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made less than three weeks prior to arrival date forfeit the total value of the booking made. Please note, however, in the event of cancellation or curtailment we are legally obliged to try to re-let the room or cottage and should we be successful there will be No charge other than for expenses occurred. If guests fail to arrive without notification the full ammount of booking becomes payable.
Holiday cancellation insurance is advised. Proposal forms can be supplied on request.
